Laura is a graduate of Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio and a resident of Lakewood, Ohio, receiving an Associate's Degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design in 2022. Photography and visual art are her passions, and she loves to create unique and eye-catching pieces using different lighting and photo editing processes. Her biggest inspiration is the multiple cities she has lived in over the course of her life. She has traveled all over the country; and has resided in northeast Ohio for nearly a decade. She grew up in Brownsville, Texas and Houston, Texas during her early childhood/teenage years, before moving to Los Angeles, CA in 2011. She lived there for 4 years, where she worked in the field of market research as an interviewer and recruiter. By moving around so much, she has become attracted to major metropolitan areas and inspired by the liveliness surrounding them. She decided to pursue an education and career in Graphic Design in 2017, after designing a poster for a Red Rocks Ampitheater poster contest. Since she graduated from college, she has enjoyed a productive freelance career via Upwork.com and through word of mouth in the local community. She hopes to motivate anyone who thinks it's too late to go back to school to think twice. It's never too late to make a career out of what you love to do!
